Learning Progression
01
Discover & Foundation

Study water cycles, supply networks, and sanitation systems.

02
Build & Specialize

Learn smart metering, leakage detection, and sewage planning.

03
Innovate & Apply

Develop tools for water reuse and real-time forecasting.

04
Lead & Transform

Drive circular water systems and policy-led solutions.

We used to rely on basic tools, but this course showed how tech can track non-revenue water. Smart metering module was most useful. Wish we had more regional water board case examples.

Vinod Patil, Executive Engineer, Jal Nigam (Maharashtra)

My thesis was on sewage planning, and this program made my research sharper. The weekly mentor check-ins were a bonus. I’d recommend this to early-career water planners.

Water Resources

India is water-stressed, with 21 cities nearing zero groundwater. Urban and rural water systems need skilled experts in water auditing, IoT monitoring, treatment technologies, and integrated watershed management to ensure sustainability and equity in water access.

Innovation

Smart meters, real-time leakage detection, AI-based demand forecasting, and decentralized wastewater treatment are modernizing water management. These innovations promote conservation, reduce losses, and ensure equitable water access.

Market Gap

India’s water infrastructure suffers from outdated systems and a shortage of skilled professionals in hydrology, wastewater planning, and decentralized treatment solutions—especially in rapidly growing peri-urban areas.
